Michael B. Harbin, CEO, CIC, CWCA
Chief Executive Officer
Michael Harbin represents the third generation of the Harbin family to carry forward the family business. From an early age, his ambition and strong work ethic set him apart, ultimately making him one of the youngest individuals to earn both his Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life Insurance licenses immediately after graduating from high school.
Michael began working at Harbin Insurance right away while continuing his education. He attended Atlanta Christian College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, all while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in the insurance industry.
During this time, he also completed all five modules required to earn the prestigious Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation at just 21 years old—placing him among the youngest professionals to achieve this distinction.
Committed to continuous professional growth, Michael later earned the Certified Work Comp Advisor (CWCA) designation, further enhancing his ability to deliver specialized expertise and strategic guidance to his clients.
Michael is passionate about partnering with small- to mid-sized, growth-oriented companies, with a particular emphasis on the construction industry. In addition to serving as a trusted Risk Advisor, he also leads as the agency’s Sales Manager, driving consistent, double-digit growth year over year.
In 2026, Michael was named Chief Executive Officer, continuing the family legacy while leading the agency into its next phase of growth and innovation.
His performance and leadership have earned him recognition from Keystone Insurers Group, where he was named Top Producer for the state of Georgia in 2013, 2015, and 2017.
Michael married his wife, Caylor, in 2009, and together they have three daughters: Grace, Sophie, and Emma Claire. The family is actively involved at Dogwood Baptist Church, where they are committed members of the congregation.
Beyond his family and church involvement, Michael is dedicated to serving his community. He sits on the boards of several local nonprofit organizations and contractor associations, contributing his time and leadership to support their missions.
