Natalie Thompson is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Harbin Insurance, where she leads the agency’s operational strategy, financial oversight, and organizational development. In her role, Natalie focuses on empowering high‑performing teams, strengthening cross‑departmental alignment, and driving operational excellence that supports long‑term agency growth.
Since joining Harbin Insurance in 2012, Natalie has guided key initiatives that enhanced workflow efficiency, improved service delivery, and elevated team collaboration across the organization. Her leadership approach emphasizes clarity, accountability, and equipping teams with the tools and support needed to excel.
Natalie began her career in higher education administration as the Accounting & Payroll Manager for Point University (formerly Atlanta Christian College), where she also earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. After transitioning into the insurance industry, Natalie earned her Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses and advanced through several progressively responsible roles. She served as a Commercial Lines account manager and later as P&C Operations Manager, where she led operational improvements and team development initiatives for four years. She also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Beyond her role at Harbin Insurance, Natalie is an active industry leader and volunteer within Applied Client Network (ACN), where she contributes to advancing peer collaboration and best practices across the insurance community. Natalie regularly leads and participates in education sessions, sharing practical insights on operations, finance, and organizational leadership to support the growth and development of agency professionals nationwide. She also participates in the national COO Forum, a peer‑driven community of senior operational leaders focused on advancing strategic operation and leadership effectiveness.
Natalie and her husband, Brent, have been married since 2007 and have two children, Bryce and Carly. Their family is actively involved at First Baptist Church of Peachtree City.
